Pokhara is the city of natural beauty with Awesome and remarkable panoramic views of crystal clear majestic Himalayan Peaks in the horizon. A naturally beautified place where you can experience the excitement of adventure trekking or simply relax at one of the lakes with stunning views of the Annapurna Manaslu and Dhaulagiri mountains higher than 8000m and natural caves.

    It is the second largest city in the country and considered as the tourism capital of Nepal.

Places to visit

 Phewa Lake: 

Phewa lake also popular as "Baidam Tal" is located at the southern part of Pokhara. It is the second largest Lake of Nepal after Rara Lake. "Tal Barahi" temple on the central part of Phewa makes it more attractive and unique. It is the most visited lake too. 

Begnas Lake:

Begnas Lake is the third largest lake of Nepal located in the south-east part of Pokhara also offers Boating. The number of resorts near the Begnas lake is also a reason for attracting tourists to stay overnight. Not only that, The area around Begnas lake is the best place for cycling because of its peaceful environment.

Bat (Chamero)  Cave

Chamero cave is the most attractive cave in Pokhara. Every tourist who visit Pokhara surely visit Chamer0/Bat Cave. The interesting thing about Chamero Cave is lots of kites inside it and the exit point which is very much narrow.

Gupteshowr Mahadev Cave:

 Guupteshwor Mahadev Cave is the longest cave around Pokhara. Tourists who get inside the cave surely feels awesome because of the cold air comes from the bottom of Devi’s fall.

Devi’s Falls (Patale Chango):

 Devi’s Fall is one of the most mysterious falls in the world. In the beginning, its name was popular as Patale Chango but later on, its name was given in the remember of a foreign lady named Devis who died here while swimming.

Peace Stupa 

Peace Stupa is one of the attraction points for tourist in Pokhara. Peace Stupa is actually a Buddhist pilgrimage but designed for all the races of people around the world to promote unity in diversity.

Paragliding: 

Pokhara is the best destination for paragliding in Nepal. The flights from the  Sarangkot offers you the best view of Pokhara valley.

Cycling:

Pokhara as the second most visited destination of Nepal is very much famous for cycling. The area around Begnas Lake might be the best destination for cycling.

Trekking:

We already knew that Pokhara is the gateway to trekking. Annapurna Base Camp Trek, Ghorepani Poonhill Trekking; Upper Mustang trek, Mardi Himal Trek are some of the popular destination treks from Pokhara.

Boating and Sight Seeing.

Pokhara is the city of eight lakes which offers you the experiences of boating in the reflection of snowy mountains.
